Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the iPhone game Purr Logic: Meowdoku (the "Game") uses, why, and the choices you have. The Game is published by Darshita Gajera ("we", "us"). Questions: support@techshivansh.com.
In short: the Game has no accounts and we don't run our own servers. Your progress stays on your device and in your own Apple account. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which uses device data as described below and as you allow it.
1. Information the Game uses
| What | Where it goes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress: levels, scores, coins, boosters, streaks, settings, avatar choice, and a random ID created by the Game for this install | Stored on your device. If you're signed in to Game Center, a copy is saved in your iCloud through Apple's Game Center saved games. | To keep your progress, and to restore coins and boosters on a new device or after reinstalling. |
| Game Center scores and your Game Center player name | Apple Game Center (daily leaderboards). | Daily leaderboards and the "Yesterday's results" rewards. Other players can see your Game Center name and score on these leaderboards. |
| Purchase records (product and transaction ID) | Apple processes the payment. The Game keeps the transaction ID on your device and in your iCloud copy. | To deliver what you bought, exactly once, and to restore one-time purchases. |
| Advertising data: device identifiers (including Apple's advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking), IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and approximate location derived from the IP address | Google AdMob and its partners. | To show ads, measure them, limit how often you see them and prevent fraud. Personalised ads only with your consent where the law requires it. |
| Messages you send us | Our support mailbox. | To answer you. The "Send feedback" button pre-fills the Game version, your level, your device model and iOS version; you can delete these before sending. |
We do not collect your name, contact details, photos, contacts or precise location, and we don't sell personal information. We don't currently use analytics services; if we add them, we'll update this policy first.
2. Advertising, consent and tracking
- The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. Google's use of data is described at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in the Google Privacy Policy.
- In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and wherever else required, the Game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy in the Game.
- iOS asks whether the Game may track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier isn't shared and ads are not personalised with it. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- The one-time Remove Ads purchase turns off banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded ads, which you choose to watch, stay available.
3. Apple services
Game Center, iCloud and in-app purchases are provided by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy. We never receive your payment details or your Apple ID.
4. How long data is kept
- Progress stays on your device until you delete the Game, and in your iCloud until you remove it (iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage).
- Leaderboard scores are kept by Apple according to its policies; daily leaderboards restart every day.
- Support emails are kept as long as needed to help you, then deleted.
- Data held by Google for advertising is kept according to Google's policies.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA in California) you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal information, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because the Game stores your data on your device and in your own Apple account, you can delete it yourself by deleting the Game and its iCloud data. For anything else, email us and we'll help within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
6. Children
The Game is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
7. Security
Data is stored using Apple's on-device and iCloud protections and sent to Apple and Google over encrypted connections. No method is perfectly secure, but we use only these established services.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and mention important changes in the Game's update notes.
