How does receipt scanning work?

Tap the Scan button, point your camera at a receipt (or pick a payment screenshot from your photos). The image is securely sent for AI processing, which extracts the merchant, amount, date, and category. You review the details and save — the transaction is stored on your device.

Why is there a daily scan limit?

Free accounts include a set number of AI scans per day. When you reach the limit you can watch a short rewarded ad for a bonus scan, or upgrade to Premium for unlimited scans. Failed scans do not count against your limit.

What do I get with Premium?

Premium removes all ads and unlocks unlimited AI scans, advanced reports, and CSV/PDF export. You can subscribe from the in-app paywall or Settings.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current period.

Is my financial data private?

Your transactions and budgets are stored locally on your device, not on our servers. Scanned images are used only to extract data and are not sold. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → Clear All Data inside the app, or simply delete the app from your device. Both permanently remove your data.

How does splitting expenses with friends work?

Create a group, share its invite code, and add shared expenses. The app calculates who owes whom and lets you settle up. Group details are synced so everyone stays up to date.

Why do I see ads / a tracking prompt?

Free accounts are supported by ads. We ask permission before using any tracking identifier; you can decline and still use the app (you'll see non-personalized ads). Upgrade to Premium to remove ads entirely.
