These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ExpenseSnap AI app (the "App") provided by Tech Shivansh ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

ExpenseSnap AI lets you scan receipts and screenshots, extract transaction details using AI, track spending, set budgets, and split expenses. Transaction data is stored on your device.

2. AI accuracy disclaimer

The App uses artificial intelligence to extract data from images. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all extracted data before relying on it. The App is a personal-finance aid and does not provide financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice.

3. Subscriptions & payments

• Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.

4. Free tier & ads

The free tier includes a limited number of AI scans per day and is supported by advertising. Premium removes ads and scan limits.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to reverse engineer, overload, or circumvent scan limits or security, or using it for unlawful purposes.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the images and data you submit. You grant us a limited right to process them solely to provide the App's features (see our Privacy Policy).

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from inaccurate AI output or your reliance on the App.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [your country/region], without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
